Visiting the gallery

The American Academy in Rome's gallery is located at Via Angelo Masina 5 00153, Rome, Italy. Gallery hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4 pm to 7 pm.

If you plan to attend the exhibition with a group of over six guests or students, please inform events@aarome.org with at least 48 hours prior notice so that special arrangements can be made.

Backpacks and luggage with dimensions larger than 40 x 35 x 15 cm (16 x 14 x 6 in.) are not permitted on the property. There are no locker facilities available.

The Academy is accessible to wheelchair users and others who need to avoid stairs. Please email us at tours@aarome.org if you or someone in your party uses a wheelchair or other mobility devices so that we can ensure the best possible visitor experience.

COVID-19 protocols

For access to the exhibition, guests will be asked to show a valid photo ID and comply with COVID-19 safety protocols for events:

• Temperature checked at the gate
• FFP2 masks required when indoors
• Visitor contact information may be shared for contact tracing
